April 17, 2025 - Stefanini Group, a global billion-dollar technology company specializing in digital solutions, has announced the acquisition of a 60% stake in Escala 24x7, a top-tier Amazon Web Services (AWS) consulting partner in Latin America. This strategic investment is aimed at expanding Stefanini’s cloud computing capabilities, accelerating Escala 24x7’s growth, and capitalizing on the fast-evolving cloud market in the region. Escala 24x7 is projected to generate $100 million in revenue by 2025.
Marco Stefanini, Founder and Global CEO of the Stefanini Group, emphasized the significance of this move, describing it as one of the largest investments in the company’s history. He highlighted that the partnership will enhance the delivery of AWS cloud projects throughout Latin America, where both companies already maintain a strong presence. Stefanini noted that Escala 24x7’s deep AWS expertise complements Stefanini’s existing offerings, enabling greater value creation for clients.
Alejandro Planas, CEO of Escala 24x7, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, citing opportunities to expand into new markets, including Brazil, and serve more customers using Stefanini’s broad client network. He pointed out that only 25% of enterprise data is currently cloud-based, underscoring the untapped potential of this collaboration. He added that the partnership will enable the company to scale its operations and support clients more effectively in their cloud transformation journeys.
The combination of Stefanini’s global reach and Escala 24x7’s AWS-focused capabilities will result in an integrated solution for businesses pursuing cloud migration. Clients will benefit from streamlined AWS adoption, operational cost reductions through optimization, and enhanced security and compliance. Escala 24x7 customers will also gain access to Stefanini’s broad portfolio of technology solutions, bolstered by over 14 years of experience in generative AI.
Together, the companies will deliver a unified approach to cloud transformation with a team of over 250 cloud professionals, more than 380 global certifications, and 13 AWS competencies. Their track record includes 1,500 successful projects across 19 countries, with notable clients such as Snap Finance, Allianz, Bancolombia, Banesco Group, Establishment Labs, and Grupo Quimmco.
Escala 24x7’s founders and executive team will continue to lead the company as it integrates into the Stefanini Group. The brand will initially serve Stefanini’s existing Latin American client base, with plans to evolve into the company’s global platform for AWS cloud services.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
